MELISSA ELIZABETH CALHOUN
“Betty” passed away this past May 7th, at the age of 94. She was the second wife of Jo Calhoun. Few know or knew her given name was Melissa. Even though I had learned it as a boy, I had forgotten it. I learned Betty’s given name when I introduced a neighbor girl also named Melissa, to Jo and he informed us of Betty’s given name. Betty married Jo in 1959. and was Jo’s and his partner’s legal secretary. Betty lived her life gently and with modesty. The original obituary was published in The Plain Dealer on May 11, 2014. Additional information is published there.
